So, I was tagged on Facebook to list 10 books that have stayed with me…and I wish I could have had it be like 50, I kept my list to 10. I thought it would be fun to do here, I’m not tagging anyone, but still…would be interested in knowing what books have stayed with you for any reason. They don’t have to be great works of literature, just ones you love.

To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee. This is my all time favorite book. The strength the characters had to stand up against adversity, and fight for something good and right…just love it.

Jemimia J - Jane Green. I remember reading this my senior year of college, when I didn’t really need to read for school and I could enjoy reading again. This book started my new found love of reading…that and I could relate to the main character.

Outlander - Diana Gabaldon. A story about romance, time travel, and Scotland…is a recipe for something Molly would like. Absolutely LOVE this book. And the hot ginger Scotsman isn’t so bad either .

Before Jamaica Lane - Samantha Young This book is part of the ODS series, but this one is my favorite. I felt a little more connected to Liv, and have no problem re-reading this book.

Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen - the dialogue in this book is just brillant. The way the characters stand strong to be themselves and then realize that doing that is also what is keeping them back…forcing them to grow…just stuck with me.

The Giver - Lois Lowry. This was my first Dystopian society book. I vividly remember getting this book from my mom and devouring it. I had never read anything like it before.

The Wave - Todd Strasser. This book taught me never ignore the past, or judge what was done because it can easily be done again.

Where the Red Fern Grows- Wilson Rawls. this is the first book that I remember outwardly crying over. I remember sitting in 6th grade silent reading and just bawling in the corner. My teacher came over to check me, saw the book I was reading, and brought me tissues.

The Gargoyle - Andrew Davidson. This book was all about inner demons and inner struggles. And burn victims…you MUST have a strong stomach to read this.

Fear of Flying - Erica Jong. This book is one that every woman in their 20’s should read. It is just amazing
